What’s more, Ooak’s refreshing new menu has lowered their prices on several select dishes due to changing costs and availability of ingredients. Taking advantage of the seasonal changes, Ooak aims to introduce healthy and sustainable ethnic Chinese dishes to their customers at a reasonable price- including vegan and vegetarian dim sum (with prices ranging from $3-8). The contemporary plant-based Chinese restaurant is excited to share vegan/vegetarian alternatives to classic favorites like char shui bao (BBQ pork steam buns), shui mai (pork and shrimp dumpling), har gao (shrimp dumpling), xiao long bao (soup dumpling), and egg yolk custard buns. Toppled with new dim sum dishes, Ooak Kitchen is bringing more meat alternatives to their menu like their succulent Black Pepper “Hamburger Steak” ($16). Following their plant-based cuisine, Ooak Kitchen creates innovative meat alternatives by including fresh vegetables, lotus roots, and various rare herbs and ingredients (usually imported from East Asia).
