The Jewelbox is in Ithaca’s West End district on the gorgeous Cayuga Waterfront Trail. The West End waterfront is a must-see neighborhood and is undergoing a spectacular revitalization. The Jewel box is transforming their outdoor patio for a neighborhood celebration for all to enjoy.
Join the Jewelbox for a summer kick off event in Ithaca’s West End Waterfront on June 16th from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
The Good Food Truck will be serving up their addictively delicious, crafted with love food. Treleaven Winery will be pouring their award-winning wines and fellow West End local business Liquid State Brewing Company will be serving their small batch craft beers in a pop-up beer garden for guests 21+ over. The Ithaca Fire Department will be here from 11am until 1pm giving tours of the fire truck and handing out fire hats to the kids. Local musicians Grassanova will be taking the stage from 12 - 2 performing “hard drivin', foot stomp in’, roots rockin' bluegrass and country music.” Festive Face Painting by Cami will be there creating colorful creations on smiling faces. PJ Arroyo from Circus Culture will be entertaining the crowd with live circus performances. This is a free, family friendly event and all are welcome, even canine friends.
The Jewelbox showcases one of a kind jewelry by local designer and goldsmith Micky Roof, alongside the works of other contemporary jewelry artists from around the world. They are dedicated to preserving the trusted relationship between the jewelry maker and its wearer and are a full-service jewelry store. Next year the Jewelbox will be celebrating their 40th anniversary.
