BLOCKTALKS: Educating Our Generation on Blockchain Technology

Videos That Are Inspiring Minds to Know More

Sacramento, CA, June 04, 2018 --(PR.com)-- BLOCKTALKS had their launch party June 2nd at the Downtown Hacker Lab in Sacramento. The channel features inspirational videos, podcasts, and articles that help define how they see our future using blockchain technology. Hear real life stories of individuals working to change our future making it more decentralized, autonomous, and safe manner with a little humor twist.

Marsha Rogers and Seth Borden spawned this idea during a short brainstorm session after a bitcoin meetup group they both attend regularly. Marsha has lived in Sacramento for over 25 years and currently works as an Adjunct Professor at Sierra College teaching in their CIS department and works freelance doing search engine optimization for small businesses.

Seth Borden focuses his energy on Business Development along with UI/UX innovation, educating the State Legislature and pushing humanitarian developments through various mediums. Both Seth and Marsha have a passion for technology and educating.

“I feel like the only way to get the mass of society onboard with blockchain technology is to explain the real life applications that blockchain technology has to offer,” said Marsha Rogers “This is the Netflix to Blockbuster scenario happening all over again. Technology changes and as it does, society must adapt or go out of business.”

The importance of a good and inspiring story can never be overemphasized. Many people have gotten their eureka moments by listening to others share their experiences. Isaac Newton believed, “If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.” Ben Okri went on to later say that “Stories can conquer fear, you know. They can make the heart bigger.” And this is what BLOCKTALKS is all about – inspiring others through stories.

Sacramento is at the heart of policy creation and BLOCKTALKS is hopeful to document the stories as it happens from people that policy actually affects. With a population of just under 500,000 and around 60,000 jobs in the Public Administration industry, Sacramento definitely has the opportunity to bring about change by implementing safeguards for blockchain technology.
