)-- With over 4,000 signatures submitted to the Secretary of State, Kevin McCormick has officially qualified to appear on the ballot as a candidate for Governor in 2018. He is the first Libertarian state-level candidate to qualify since the signature requirement increased from 135 to 3,153 after the 2014 election.
McCormick is running on a plan to raise teacher pay without raising taxes and attract remote workers with more healthcare choices. He is participating in the Citizens' Clean Elections program.
"The bigger government gets the more incentive there is to be corrupt," said McCormick. "I'm beholden to nothing but the rights of the people of Arizona."
"This isn't about the letter next to our names any more. It's about win-win solutions for what kind of world our kids are going to grow up in." McCormick is a successful technology executive and married father of two running for Governor of Arizona.
