Parker Symphony is Holding Auditions for 2018-19 Season

The Parker Symphony Orchestra will be holding auditions for the 2018-2019 season on Saturday August 25, 2018.

Parker, CO, June 16, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Parker Symphony Orchestra will be holding auditions for the 2018-2019 season on Saturday August 25, 2018 from 9AM to 12PM. They will be held at the PACE Center, 20000 Pikes Peak Ave., Parker in 20 minute intervals.

Musicians who are interested in joining the Parker Symphony will be asked to perform three extracts of their choice totaling no more than 8 minutes of music.

Extracts should demonstrate breadth of skills and should reflect differing styles and/or periods of music. Currently, there are openings for string bass, viola, violin, and subs for all instruments.

Established in 1994, the mission of the Parker Symphony Orchestra is to perform orchestral music that will educate, entertain, and inspire the people of Parker, Colorado and the surrounding communities. Under the direction of René Knetsch, the PSO is seventy five members strong, dedicated to continual excellence and growth. They perform with the goal of offering interesting and entertaining performances to tempt everyone’s musical palate.
