GES Energy Introduces ESCO Energy Model to Irish Businesses

Using the ESCO Energy Model, Irish businesses can upgrade to Green Energy Solutions with no upfront cost and make repayments solely from savings made.

Limerick, Ireland, June 22, 2018 --(PR.com)-- GES Energy, an Energy Solutions Company (ESCO), is helping clients substantially reduce the cost of their energy requirements by upgrading to green, sustainable solutions. Although green energy upgrades are nothing new, where GES differentiates is that clients do not have to pay for the upgrade upfront, as repayments are solely drawn from the guaranteed energy savings gained.

GES Energy was founded in 2017 by U.S. native Cori Calvert, who after a short visit to Ireland in 2016, not alone decided that Ireland was going to be her future home, but that she would start a business here as well, “From the minute I landed in Dublin, I just knew it felt like home for some reason. When we were travelling and I walked into hotels on the west of Ireland, I kept questioning why they don’t have LED lights or other green energy solutions. Many hoteliers told me they didn’t have the money upfront to do it. I came back home and started investigating the potential of introducing the ESCO energy model to Ireland.”

Using the ESCO model, clients can upgrade to sustainable, green energy improvements such as LED Lighting, PV Solar, Wind Turbine, CHP, HVAC and more efficient boilers, often guaranteeing energy savings of up to 60%. The downside, up to now, had been finding the resources to support the cost of the upgrade. However, this is all about to change as GES Energy will install, maintain and finance the agreed energy solutions upgrade, and the client just makes repayments solely from the energy savings gained.

GES Energy are currently helping clients in the Hospitality, Manufacturing, Agricultural and Retail sectors achieve substantial energy savings and drastically reduce their carbon footprint. Cori, who has over 20 years experience working for a U.S. government backed Energy Services Company, believes that Irish businesses can use the ESCO model to future proof against rising energy costs and meeting their 2020 carbon reduction targets.
