Nonprofit Children's Amateur Theatre Opens New Location

Top Cat Stage Productions, a NJ Nonprofit, is beginning their summer theatre programs at their new location.

Hainesport, NJ, June 26, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Top Cat Stage Production, a NJ Nonprofit, has gone from humble beginnings providing free Children’s Theatre Workshops, Musicals and Voice Lessons to Burlington and Camden county youth at BCLS Headquarters in Westampton to opening their own little theatre at Bruni Square in Hainesport on Rt. 38. “I was delighted with the number of interested kids we had at the library program; so many that we had a waiting list and kept adding more and more nights to the program. I hope the fact that we are nonprofit will help families in the area to utilize us for their children interested in musical theatre, especially the beginners,” said Megan Malfi, Director.

Top Cat is a no-cut program (for ages as young as 4, up through high school), meaning all children who want to participate will get a part in a play or musical recital. Malfi often writes original works for the kids so she has the right to make any changes to the material that might be necessary to support the child as they reach show date. The little workshop/theatre has rehearsal space and a stage, just the right size for the small groups Malfi likes to work with. The group programs are very personal with a lot of individual attention, including private lessons.
