Jeremy Brown is an Insulator Worker at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The shipyard repairs, overhauls, and modernizes ships and submarines. Mr. Brown attended Shipbuilding Apprentice School. He has taken numerous courses including an Asbestos Supervisor Course at Marine Chemist Service, a Forklift Operator Certificate Course, and Forklift, Clamp, and Reach Truck Operator Course at Paul D. Camp Community College. Mr. Brown is a Certified Life Guard, and is First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified. His honors and awards are numerous and include Keeper of the Great Cats Award in recognition of support for great cats of Tiger Haven, Patriot of the Year Award from Help Hospitalized Veterans Organization, a Certificate of Appreciation from St. Joseph's Indian School, a Certificate of Recognition from the U.S. Olympic Committee, and a Certificate of Acknowledgement from Boys Town. www.navsea.navy.mil
