Publisher A+ Editing & Content Creation has released The Foundation for the Development for the Urban Poor (FDUP) debut mini-book on Friday June 22, 2018. The book, written by Toni Carter - the organization’s director, analyzes gun violence in America’s communities through fictional short stories, essays, and poems that highlight the reasons for the phenomenal rates of gun violence in these communities. This mini-book is part of the FDUP series which will include several chapters aimed at unearthing social injustices and encouraging readers to participate in the change they wish to see. At the end of each book is a letter to a congressional member that can be used to inform the government about the grievances mentioned in the mini-book.

“A short, thoughtful read meant to inspire change in communities afflicted by the gun violence epidemic,” said Adrianna Jones, community advocate. The book is available on Amazon.com.
