"Female Dog Whisperer" Trainer Adelita Alvarez Introduces New Techniques in Canine Training

Dog Trainer Adelita Alvarez Demonstrates Cutting Edge Dog Training Techniques in Los Angeles.

Toluca Lake, CA, March 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Renowned Dog Trainer Adelita Alvarez, President of Gooddogk9training (http://gooddogk9training.com) introduces a new way to train dogs. She casts aside traditional behavioral methods to embrace a practical approach that works. Alvarez will be demonstrating her successful approach to dog training at a socialization lesson on Saturday March 15, 2008, 10:30 pm at Doggie Avenue, 1719 West Magnolia Boulevard, CA 91506.

Alvarez has been working with dogs from the age of 11 when she used to take her grandmother’s dog, Foxy for walks. She has a consistent celebrity/ VIP following in Southern California and beyond. She is known in Los Angeles as the “Female Dog Whisperer” in reference to famed dog trainer Cesar Millan (star of the award winning show for Discovery Channel “The Dog Whisperer”). Adelita has developed a new compassionate method of dog training dogs based on her calm and cheerful personality; and teaching a dog the difference between right and wrong. Many veterinarians in the San Fernando Valley endorse and use Adelita Alvarez’ gooddogk9training program.

About her new approach to dog training Alvarez explains: “Dog owners are initially apprehensive about dog training. They don’t know whether they are going to get results or maybe think that the training is going to break the spirit of their dog. I get dogs to be able to focus and endure distractions and I eventually bring this into a more practical setting where it is useful in a routine day of a dog owner.

“I help dogs who are overwhelmed and unable to go on walks, teaching boundaries so that a dog won’t go in certain areas of one’s house or yard, routines such as potty training as well as socialization and getting an aggressive dog to gradiently change its disposition and warmly welcome people or dogs to be in its space. Dog training isn’t a “quick fix” activity. I ensure that things are clearly understood by owners so that they can reinforce what I train the dogs to do. Getting an owner to learn how to do this is half of the work.”

Adelita Alvarez has trained the dogs of many celebrities and people in the entertainment industry. She joined WorldLife Fund in 1970 http://www.wwf.org She lives in Southern California. For more information: www.gooddogk9training.com
