MSCCN and Blue Star Families Join Forces to Support Military and Veteran Families

Organizations unite to fight military and Veteran employment issues.

Lake St. Louis, MO, July 12, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) and Blue Star Families (BSF)—two long-running military nonprofits—announce their partnership in support of military and Veteran families. In concert with their sister organization CASY, MSCCN's mission is to provide employment placement and career progression assistance for all military spouses, military family members, transitioning service members, and Veterans. Through this partnership, MSCCN and BSF will work together to ensure all military spouses, family members, service members, and veterans are connected to services in order to combat unemployment and underemployment in their communities.

MSCCN’s Senior Executive Vice President, Stacy Bayton praised their new partner, “Blue Star Families has a long history of supporting military families and connecting them to their communities. We look forward to working together to strengthen our military and veteran families as well as the network of nonprofits that exist to assist them.”

“We are thrilled to work with MSCCN to assist the military community in getting the help they need,” said Kathy Roth-Douquet, CEO of Blue Star Families. “Our goal is to see a substantial increase in military-affiliated job-seekers finding and retaining meaningful employment, and together we’re going to do our best to ensure it happens.”

MSCCN and Blue Star Families will collaborate over the next several months to continue to identify ways to support and grow organizational initiatives.
