Odyssey Soccer Club

Building top youth and select soccer players throughout North Texas.

Ft. Worth, TX, March 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Odyssey Soccer Club was established for the specific purpose of developing a competitive select youth soccer club whose goals are to achieve a developmental program in which youth soccer players can train and compete at various levels of competition and have the opportunities to consistently develop and achieve state, regional and national soccer accomplishments.

Odyssey builds select soccer teams and recruits players from within Tarrant County, Texas. Odyssey develops top players and select youth soccer teams in our area from cities such as Ft. Worth, Keller, Southlake, Grapevine, North Richland Hills, Azle, Justin, Trophy Club, Haslet, Decatur, Roanoke, Denton, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Watauga, Flower Mound, and other cities within this area.

Odyssey has grown tremendously over the past 10 years and has become the premier select soccer club in Tarrant County. Currently the club has approximately 500 players amongst 20 different teams. Ages range from 6-18 years old. One of the club's goals is to offer players an opportunity to play a regional and national schedule that gives wide exposure to the highest levels of the youth game. The club was founded for the elite player, and strives to place these players with knowledgeable and motivated coaches.

Odyssey has other goals beyond developing "powerhouse" soccer teams. One such major goal is to build a family type atmosphere where children, young adults, and their families are encouraged to come and visit and get to know others within their community. Odyssey has their own 12 acre soccer complex and holds regular social events at the facility to bring everyone together for fun and harmony.

Odyssey is a not-for-profit organization and enjoys a 501 (c)(3) designation under the IRS Not-For Profit structure. They are dedicated to serving the needs of the more committed soccer player by providing the highest level of instruction available thereby preparing him or her to be a proud representative of the Club at local, state and regional competitions. Odyssey strives to produce confident players who have not only reached their full athletic potential but are also prepared to become active and productive members of their community.
