Greenville, SC, August 15, 2018 --(PR.com
)-- Once again it’s that time of year for the Chapman Foundation Inc. “Historically Black Colleges and Universities” tour. “SHEEN Magazine is honored to be the ‘Media Sponsor’ for such an amazing event,” says SHEEN spokesperson. CFI and SHEEN will be on the road to over “20” HBCU's to “Educate, Empower, and Enlighten.” Starting August 18th, the tour will begin with visits to: Johnson C. Smith, Morehouse, Claffin, SC State and Clark Atlanta (more schools to be announced with dates following). “The ‘Tour Initiative’ is to provide: onsite engagement and direct contact with faculty/staff/alumni and students,” states Mrs. Kimberly Chapman (CFI Founder). The tour will also be used as a recruitment tool for brilliant students to take part in the HBCU “Ambassador Program.” The AP is a one year platform that provides scholarships and internships to well deserving students. As you can imagine, this program will transform theory into practical application particularly for students with a concentration in: Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Arts, Journalism, Event Planning or Communication. The CFI/SHEEN HBCU tour’s goal is to ignite mentorships, aspirations, financial scholarships, and community/educational enrichment. Hopefully this will ignite additional organizations to offer mentorships, financial scholarships, and community/educational enrichment programs at the local levels.
