"Boris and the Bomb": Indie Trailer Premieres at Worldcon

San Jose, CA, August 21, 2018 --(PR.com)-- On Sunday August 19th, guests of the 3pm independent film panel at Worldcon76 will get the first peek at the full trailer for the feature film "Boris and the Bomb." Executive producers and writers David P. Kronmiller and Jennifer Emily McLean will be speaking and screening the trailer at the Pros and Cons of Indie Filmmaking: Its Challenges and Rewards panel just before the full trailer goes live to the world. At Worldcon 76 participants will also get Code Word access to exclusive scenes from the film.

"Boris and the Bomb" tells the story of what happens when an ex-KGB agent who has defected to the United States, gets into the backseat of an Uber with a stolen, cold war era, broken, counting down, nuclear bomb he has to disarm in 48 hours in order to save the world. The action/comedy stars Faran Tahir (Iron Man, Star Trek), TJ Storm (Punisher: Warzone, Kickboxer: Vengence), Kavi Ladnier (Heroes), Kurt Caceres (Prison Break, Mi Familia, T@gged), Molly Hagan (Sully, Jane The Virgin), Pete Gardner (Crazy Ex Girlfriend) and J. Anthony McCarthy (Agent Carter) as Boris.

“It’s very exciting,” says Executive producer Jennifer Emily McLean, “we’ve worked so hard for so long I’m excited for people to be able to see our work and thrilled that we get to share it at Worldcon.” “Making an indie film is incredibly challenging, but working with actors like Faran Tahir and J. Anthony McCarthy made the process so much easier. I am eager for audiences at WorldCon 76 to see this crazy, funny, bomb filled world we’ve created when the trailer premieres this Sunday,” says Director David P. Kronmiller

The filmmakers also spoke at the STEAM panel on August 18th at 2:00pm. They shared their experiences making an independent film while raising their young daughter.
