LOG-NET Announces Hanjin Shipping as the 2007 LOG-NET e-Commerce Excellence Award Winner for Second Year in a Row

Red Bank, NJ, March 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- LOG-NET, Inc., an industry leader in international enterprise supply chain software solutions, announced that Hanjin Shipping Corporation, one of the major contributors to global marine transport, was named the recipient of the annual LOG-NET e-commerce excellence award for the second year in row. The award will be presented at the Journal of Commerce’s Transpacific Maritime Conference in Long Beach, California. The award recognizes Hanjin Shipping for its consistent performance across multiple clients and its ability to achieve the highest level of completeness among all ocean carriers rated in the delivery of EDI events LOG-NET customers have selected as most important to them.

The LOG-NET e-commerce award is the industry's highest honor for ocean carrier excellence. The award rates ocean carriers on the set-up and daily execution of electronic commerce interfaces with clients. LOG-NET evaluates millions of records covering over 650,000 containers per year in this assessment. Performance in the high ninety percent range is required to compete with the top five e-commerce vendors. At the award ceremony, LOG-NET made honorable mention of four other carriers for their tremendous performance in each area of e-commerce. Qualifying in the top five were China Ocean Shipping—fifth place, K-Line—fourth place, Yang Ming—third place, and Hyundai—runner-up.

“On behalf of LOG-NET, we congratulate the entire Hanjin team,” noted John Motley, president and CEO of LOG-NET, Inc. “Hanjin's performance has been exceptional across our many mutual customers. Hanjin's ability to support the movement of goods in all areas of the world and for large and small clients surpassed the competition. Hanjin achieved excellence in e-commerce in the true spirit of LOG-NET's e-commerce excellence award.”
