Back to the Movies

Schenectady, NY, March 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Voice Coaches, an organization that provides industry-leading voice over training and classes across the United States and Canada, recently hosted professional voice over recording sessions for "Against The Wind,” a ten minute short film created by Fountainhead Pictures in association with Future Media. Fountainhead previously built success partnering with Voice Coaches Studios on their family oriented short film "Letting Go," winning numerous awards at film festivals across the country.

The voice over intensive "Against The Wind" reflects on the aging process through the eyes and voice of seventy-year-old "Ned", portrayed by actor Michael Hayes. Hayes is a familiar face and voice at Voice Coaches' Studios, as he received voice acting training through the company six years ago.

"This is the most heavily voiced film I have ever worked on," commented Voice Coaches President David Bourgeois, who produced Hayes through the marathon recording sessions. "The film features narration nearly from start to finish, and it is some very emotional material," Bourgeois added. Bourgeois and his facility have also produced voice work for Discovery Network, TLC, HGTV, and numerous other production and professional broadcast organizations.

Look for "Against The Wind" at major family film festivals this summer.
