Americana Recording Artist Joe McGowan Gives His Fans "Sweet Talk"

Charleston, SC, August 25, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Singer-songwriter Joe McGowan brings his native Charleston, South Carolina charm into his newly released single "Sweet Talk."

Known for his ballads and strong piano skills, this track was somewhat of an experiment for Joe, his first attempt at writing a mainstream country song with a hook that would capture the listener, making them want to listen again and again. When asked how he was able to step outside the box to write this track, Joe said, "I actually felt like an actor, envisioning what it would be like to see someone that blew me away on a Friday night at a local bar."

The main character in this song isn't McGowan, but the lyrics capture every Friday night bar flutter a man could have and relay to every woman just what she wants that guy to say.

As Joe played around with the metaphor of "sweet" in the lyrics, he focused on making the girl sound as hot as he imagined her to look.

When asked about his favorite parts of the song, Joe hesitates for a moment before he states, "I like how the hook draws on an melodic motif that sounds like Americana meets country-pop," and adds, "It turned out really nice, and I am thankful to the boys at Legends Studio in Nashville and, specifically, Dan Frizsell, for the incredible job they did with the production." This may just well be the song that young couples sing to each other for generations to come for this track, "Sweet Talk" is, as Joe so adeptly croons, "driving us crazy."

Big Noise has worked with McGowan since March 2018 providing career direction and PR.
