New Medicare Open Enrollment Tools Now Available from Medicare Supplement Association

The first of a series of marketing tools were made available today from the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance. The first tools will help agents generate leads during Medicare Open Enrollment Season.

Los Angeles, CA, August 30, 2018 --( New marketing tools will help insurance agents generate more consumer calls during Medicare Open Enrollment. The tools are being made available by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI) a national organization.

"The Medicare Open Enrollment Period runs each year from October 15 to December 7 and is the time period when consumers are most aware of their opportunity to review Medicare insurance options," explains Jesse Slome, director of the organization. During this time, sometimes called the Annual Election Period or Annual Coordinated Enrollment Period, anyone with Medicare Parts A & B can switch to a Medicare Part C plan.

"There are more agents than ever competing for Medicare prospects," Slome shared. "It's harder than ever to stand out and few agents have access to professionally-created marketing and public relations tools."

To meet the needs of insurance agents, the Association released the first of a series that consists of a do-it-yourself publicity toolkit and a banner ad that agents can use. "More agents searching for Medicare insurance prospects are using social media and the new banner gives them a personalized promotional image that's perfect for social media marketing attachments," Slome added.

The do-it-yourself Medicare agent publicity kit initially comes with three fill-in-the-blank press releases. "These are perfect for local weekly newspapers," Slome notes. "There are over 7,000 community newspapers that typically publish once a week and will include news items submitted by local professionals." These newspapers reach millions according to Slome, an award winning and recognized public relations professional.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, the Association advocates for and serves to educate consumers and support insurance industry professionals who offer Medicare insurance products.
