African Award Winning Actor Chet Anekwe Joins the Cast of the Evocative Historical Film, "Brigantia"

Native Nigerian actor plays an archaeologist who uncovers a wealth of British ancient history.

Los Angeles, CA, September 07, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Born in Nigeria and raised in NYC, Chet Anekwe’s work spans Hollywood and Nigerian cinema, being nominated for African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) 2012 - Best Actor in a Leading Role for “Unwanted Guest” and winner of the Golden Icons Award - Best Actor.

Now he is to co-star as archaeologist Dr. Abayomi Mangoro in the Iron Age evocative film "Brigantia" produced by Thomas R. Bond, II and Biograph Company.

The film begins with present day archaeologists who excavate a 2000 year old northern English settlement, discovering a dwelling that tells a story through paintings and written word of a place called "Brigantia" from thousands of years ago. The story is told by Airell, (Played by James Robinson of ‘Braveheart’ fame) a Chieftain and Druid Ministre who lives in the last century before Christ during Britain's pre-historic age of secret mystery and magic, from the Britons, the Celts and Druids in this island of 'Pretanik' (Britain).
