Texas Trust Continues Partnership with UTA

Arlington, TX, September 15, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Texas Trust Credit Union is kicking off the fifth year of its strategic partnership with the University of Texas at Arlington Intercollegiate Athletics.

Since Texas Trust has been the official credit union of UTA Athletics, it has donated more than $80,000 to the athletic scholarship fund, and has offered student-oriented financial services through its on-campus branch. Additionally, Texas Trust is the sponsor of the UTA student fan section located within College Park Center (CPC).

For the 2018-2019 school year, UTA has announced that all registered full-time UTA students with a valid student ID can attend any home sporting event for free. To take advantage, students simply enter the venue through the designated student entrance and swipe their student ID.

“For events at CPC, students will make their way through Gate 1 into the Texas Trust corridor to the Texas Trust the Mavs take to the court or field.”

According to Jim Baker, UTA Athletics Director, “Students attending games at CPC will have access to student-centric specials, games, merchandise, and more, available exclusively within the Texas Trust corridor before and during the games.”

The UTA Mavericks play their home volleyball and basketball games at College Park Center (CPC); baseball and softball games are played at Clay Gould Ballpark or Allan Saxe Field; tennis matches are held at the UTA Tennis Center; and track and field events are located at Maverick Stadium.

Texas Trust’s monthly donation to the athletic scholarship fund is raised through its Spirit Debit Rewards program. With every eligible swipe of a UTA debit card featuring a Maverick sport, a donation is made to the scholarship fund. The program is on pace to reach the $100,000 mark before the end of the 2018-2019 school year.
