Trilogy Partners Has Been Selected from the More Than 35 Million SketchUp Users to Present the Trilogy Partners Design and Build Process

Frisco, CO, September 27, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Trilogy Partners has been selected from the more than 35 million SketchUp users to present the Trilogy Partners design and build process at the international SketchUp 3D Basecamp convention in Palm Springs, CA. Trilogy Partners will have an impressive three separate presentations during this event, each featuring their virtual design and build process. SketchUp, owned by Trimble, is a specialty software platform utilized for professionals and hobbyists to visualize and design our world in a 3D environment.

“I fell in love with SketchUp and 3d architectural design in 2012. In just six amazing years we have leveraged their software product with our design and build experience into a package that will influence how our homes, and quite possibly all homes, are designed and built for the foreseeable future. We empower our clients to design their homes or commercial spaces in a 3D and Virtual Reality platform, so they can truly experience their space before construction,” said Michael Rath, Trilogy Partners CEO and Owner.

Rath will present their Virtual Design workflow with Hewlett Packard’s HP Z workstation team. Erin Pfarr, Trilogy Partners Business Development Director, will present on how to facilitate SketchUp to optimize business. Rath and the design team will present on how they have advanced the program beyond what even SketchUp’s engineers knew what was possible during “Extreme SketchUp.”

“The technology is exciting and we are thrilled to be at the forefront of this industry, but our main focus and inspiration is our clients and how we can best serve them. Experiencing your custom home or commercial space while we are still in design, rather than during construction, empowers our clients to fully understand exactly what the completed project will look like and invites them to part of the process. They walk into their front door in the virtual model and see every design selection; they feel the height of the ceilings, walk through their kitchen, see every detail down to their tile laid out and the views. Clients are immersed into their home before it is built. That is revolutionary,” said Erin Pfarr, Trilogy Partners Business Development Director.

Trimble was founded in 1978 by three former Hewlett-Packard employees, and since its inception, the Trimble name has been synonymous with navigation products and software processing tools.

"After the recession, we decided to make a change. We looked at what our competition was doing, and we noticed an opportunity to embrace new technology to better serve our clients. The construction industry is slow to change, so we decided instead to move fast. And here we find ourselves, a small company based in the Colorado high country influencing an entire industry. Thanks so much to SketchUp, Trimble and HP for sharing our vision," said Rath.

In June of 2012, Trimble acquired Google's SketchUp, one of the most popular 3D modeling tools in the world. Users are able to design, model, and collaborate on one platform. This allows Trilogy Partners to work alongside their clients, making selections, finding edits, errors and opportunities in the virtual reality and 3D platforms well before they break ground on their custom home.

Rath and Pfarr have also been invited to speak at the international Trimble Dimensions convention in November about their virtual design process.
