New Orleans, LA, September 28, 2018 --(PR.com
)-- LGBT Author Joseph Federico is bringing his spooky and thrilling novella, Voudou Juice, home to the story’s setting in the French Quarter just in time for Halloween.
For Federico, the original client to Anchors To Dusk Publishing, LLC, the South has always been an enchanting place. After developing an appreciation for the region during a childhood vacation, he returned later to find the appeal just as alluring. Federico began writing the book itself in the South, after being inspired by a heavily mixed cocktail purchased from a Tiki bar in Myrtle Beach.
Eventually, after a trip to New Orleans, the story took the on dark and haunting form it carries today. The story, influenced by the twisting wrought iron structures and spiritual jazz of the city of New Orleans, follows the unsuspecting and mysterious Riley Clarke as he uncovers secrets related to his mother’s relationship with the city.
The journey is a gripping one that celebrates primal sexual freedom, haunting sensual discoveries, and the treasure trove of culture that is the Crescent City. Federico self-published Voudou Juice in April of last year through his company Anchors to Dusk Publishing, LLC. The company and the author share the core values of strong work ethic and conviction, which is clear in the text.
Filled with spine-tingling dark magic and shiver-worthy surprises, the novella is a must-have for the season. Federico will be signing the book at the Four Points by Sheraton on the 23rd of October. Copies of Voudou Juice will be available at the event for only $15.00. Be sure to join Anchors To Dusk Publishing, LLC from 11:30am-2:00pm for a strange and supernatural afternoon.
