Jamaal Al-Din to Complete B.A. Degree at Boise State University with Final 22 Credits

Boise, ID, March 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Former player of Ed Palubinskas and President of Boise based basketball entity Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227, will complete the remaining 22 credits of B.A. Degree at Boise State University starting fall of 2008.

Coach Jamaal Al-Din, who attended Mountain Home High School in Idaho and is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan is the President of Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227. He will be enrolling at Boise State University this fall of 2008.

"To complete my degree at Boise State University is not what I expected, but I know it will pay off," said Jamaal.

Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 plays host to an extraordinary basketball website and entertainment series for fans, players and coaches. Coach Jamaal Al-Din looks to expand operations to include many states over the next several years.

"Attending Mountain Home High School as a United States Air Force, military dependent and watching Boise State basketball, I became a very loyal Bronco fan," said Jamaal.

As of now, sports, including basketball are providing Boise State University with much needed revenue for expansion. However Coach Jamaal's motivation is the academic side of attending Boise State along with its local flavor.

Along with basketball camps and clinics, Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 has started fundraising ventures including the ESPN Coaches Fundraiser and Phoneraiser to help expand services for youth with a percentage going to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

Jamaal Al-Din gives alot of credit to watching past players of Boise State University basketball, like Chris Childs, Arnell Jones, Wilson Foster, Brian King and Doug Usitalo along with many others.

"Those were players that Coach Bobby Dye molded into competitors, and I always admired there hard, defensive style of play," said Jamaal.

As a public relations major, this was a difficult choice for Jamaal, because Boise State University does not offer that major. So now...it's on to Business Administration.

"As a Business Administration major this will help with operations at Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227," said Jamaal.
