Spencer Savings Bank Welcomes Alexander Booth as Chief Financial Officer
Elmwood Park, NJ, October 19, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Spencer Savings Bank is pleased to welcome Alexander C. Booth as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Booth will be responsible for the overall management of Spencer’s Finance Division, including the areas of accounting, treasury, financial reporting as well as financial planning and analysis. He will assist the President and CEO with strategic growth for the bank including due diligence, risk assessment, evaluation and integration of business opportunities. He will be part of the Executive Management team, reporting directly to Jose Guerrero, Chairman, President and CEO of Spencer Savings Bank.

Booth has almost 35 years of experience as a financial professional serving the banking, insurance and business service industries. Prior to joining Spencer Savings Bank, he held senior roles in strategy and planning for IDB Bank and HSBC Insurance – North America. For years, Booth also worked as an advisor for MetLife, implementing financial governance on a major acquisition as well as a variety of other high profile projects. Booth is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (MBA, Finance) and Canisius College (MBA, Accounting).
