)-- Visual solutions began as a computer/IT consulting practice that primarily focused on contract services with various mid-sized and large companies. In 1998, when Robert Lennes founded Visual Solutions his goal was to "provide first class customer service and to employ talent from across the industry that could help achieve this goal."
In those early years, they helped dozens of companies revolutionize their I.T. departments, bringing them top performers and assisting them with solving needs. As the needs for incremental I.T. services in companies dwindled due to a lagging economy, Robert started focusing his eye on specialized projects. So it came as no surprise when the company switched gears and changed how they focused their expertise, in just 3 years later, Visual Solutions had evolved from just a general consulting practice, to that of a software "boutique" company, focusing on creating quality mobile software for the new mobile devices of the time, Palm Pilots and Pocket PCs. Visual Solutions developed software that was used by the likes of large corporations, including Target, Famous Footwear, Kelley Bluebook, and many others. Years later, as the Palm and PocketPC market dwindled, this focus over time shifted yet again to a web-based software and technology. In 2011, they launched a software program, originally named VS POS, now rebranded and known as "Salon | Manager." VS POS and "Salon | Manager," with its sophisticated yet easy-to-use functionality, run a large international eye brow threading franchise, and "Salon | Manager," now available to salons in North America, is expanding into adoption by salons throughout the country.
"Salon | Manager" allows customers to book appointments anywhere and anytime. The booking features have been recently revamped in the third version of the platform.
"I wanted to help small salon chains find a better way of booking and managing appointments," says Robert, "The old paper books, or calendars, don't allow providers to engage with their customers unless they personally take the time to pick up the phone, and this can take time away from servicing actual appointments. Salon | Manager allows providers to send reminders and customers to book appointments all from the comfort of their cellphones or computers."
In the last 20 years, Visual Solutions has helped literally 1000s of companies in various ways, from revolutionizing their I.T. departments, to improving revenue and profits for businesses by enhanced mobile and web technology. There are still plenty of companies that need help and they are always looking to expand their horizons.
With that in mind, they recently started beta testing a new web-based service called "Paw Manager," that will focus on helping dog groomers and dog daycare operations improve management of appointments and customer servicing, just as the salons benefit with "Salon | Manager." This new service is hoped to be fully released in early 2019.
