Bobbitt’s Jim Bell to Teach Green Building Class at Wilson Community College on March 20

Raleigh, NC, March 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Jim Bell, project developer for Bobbitt Design Build, will teach a Green Advantage® class at Wilson Community College on March 20 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Green Advantage is a green building educational and certification system for building contractors and trades people. The organization promotes sustainable building practices, including green building sites, water conservation, energy efficiency, conservation of materials and indoor environmental quality.

Bell is a Green Advantage instructor and a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). He serves as the Educational Committee Chair of the Triangle Chapter of USGBC.

As a project developer with Bobbitt Design Build, Bell has overseen numerous commercial construction projects including schools, medical offices, restaurants and industrial buildings. Prior to joining Bobbitt, he was captain in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University.

The Wilson Tech course is designed to prepare commercial contractors and subcontractors for the Green Advantage Certification Exam.
