Pawfriendly Landscapes is Excited to Announce They Are Members of PETA

Golden, CO, March 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Pawfriendly Landscapes, Inc. of Golden, Colorado, is excited to announce they are members of PETA. Elizabeth Bublitz, owner of Pawfriendly Landscapes and author of, "Pawfriendly Landscapes, How to Share the Turf When Your Backyard Belongs to Barney," is an animal activist and landscape designer who designs yards for dogs.

According to PETA's website, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), with more than 1.8 million members and supporters, is the largest animal rights organization in the world.

PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs.

PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns.

Ms. Bublitz says, "I'm blessed to combine my passion of plants and animals and create pet friendly yards for the most incredible people who love their pets! It's nice that animal lovers can support an organization like PETA who defend animals and promote justice for them. I'm just happy to support PETA for all that they've done for animals."
