)-- Wednesday, December 12th, Saw Creek Estates will be hosting an Informed Senior Seminar that is open to the public. There will be numerous vendors in an open meeting format including State Representative Rosemary Brown, Pike County Area Agency on Aging, Pike County transportation, Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Consumer Affairs, SHARE Housing, Safe Haven of Pike County, Care Givers of America, numerous senior Care Centers and a few law offices that specialize in Senior Scams and elderly abuse. This is an informal event where guests can walk around and mingle with the various vendors and speak with representatives who can answer any questions they may have.
The event is open to any senior citizen or care giver from Pike or Monroe County.
While Saw Creek Estates is normally a private community the gates are open for guests of this event. Just mention The Senior Seminar at the main gate.
Light Refreshments will be served (coffee, Danishes, water, etc) and there will be Door Prizes.
