WROX Records Releases Two Guy Gilchrist Holiday Singles
World-renowned illustrator, author, comic strip artist, and songwriter's, Merry Christmas Sluggo and Christmas Light available for Download and Streaming.
Nashville, TN, November 29, 2018 --(PR.com)-- New Jersey based WROX Records, LLC is happy to announce the digital distribution of two Christmas songs from the former Nancy comic strip illustrator, Guy Gilchrist. Originally released in limited quantity as an EP in 2009, Merry Christmas Sluggo and Christmas Light are now available for download and streaming on most major platforms.
World-renowned illustrator, author, comic strip artist, and songwriter, Guy Gilchrist is best known as Jim Henson’s cartoonist. He was instrumental in the development of “Fraggle Rock” and the creation of “The Muppet Babies.” He has also set his hand to “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “Looney Tunes,” “Tom & Jerry,” “The Pink Panther,” and many more. He has written and illustrated over 60 children’s books, three of which were awarded “Best Book Of The Year” by the United Nations International Reading Council, his work has been permanently enshrined in the National Smithsonian Institute.
