Poetry Contests by Creative Communication

Logan, UT, December 06, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Since starting over 20 years ago, Creative Communication has awarded more than 2 million dollars in real money prizes to teachers and students in the forms of cash, books and school supplies. The teachers and students can participate in the prizes by entering their poems. Creative Communication has poetry contests for students in grades K-9.

Contests are held three times a year. Students can enter on their own, or teachers can enter a class or specific student. The main objective and purpose of the contests are to motivate students and get them excited about writing.

Write: Any type of poem can be entered. Each entry cannot be over 21 lines of text.

Enter: Students in grades K-9 can enter each contest free of charge. They can enter online at Poeticpower.

Judge: The judges are educators who will read each poem. Overall, only the top 45% are invited to be published.

Invite: When the judging is completed, teachers will be notified which students are selected to be published and have the opportunity to be in the book and win prizes for their writing.

Permission: Each student that gives permission will be published in a hard bound book.

Win: Celebrity moment! Top ten winners from each grade will receive cash awards with a free book and teachers with five or more students published receive a free book and earn points to receive classroom supplies.

Creative Communication has been bringing recognition to students writers for over 20 years.
