According to Erick Toth, Charlotte County Soccer Federation President, “Our club will be collecting needed items at each of our soccer field locations, near concessions, during our Friday and Saturday games. During the holidays local food pantries are especially in need of peanut butter, jelly, and canned meats, like tuna and chicken. Other staples, like pasta and canned soup, are needed as well. Personal care items are also appreciated.
Donations of canned and other nonperishable food and nonfood items will be accepted from Friday, November 29, through Saturday, December 22, between 6 and 8 p.m. on Fridays and 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturdays during game days near concession.
