Dr. Mark D. Schneider is Named Professional of the Year by the International Association of Who’s Who

Dr. Mark D. Schneider of Downey, California is recognized by the International Assoc. of Who’s Who for exemplary achievements in the field of Physical Therapy.

Schneider is an experienced medical professional who has worked at the Community Medical Group as a Family Physician since 1993 and he has gained a well-deserved reputation for excellence. He currently specializes in Bronchitis, Dermatitis, High Blood Pressure, Obesity, Asthma, Allergies, Diabetes and Abdominal Pain.

There are many factors that inspired Dr. Schneider to undertake a career in Medicine; the primary reason was that Mark was inspired by both his Father in Law, Dr. Irving Jacks, and his uncle, Dr. Arthur Greenfield, following their work and dedication to the field. Following their strong influence, Mark embarked on his medical career in 1971 at UCLA where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. To further his educational achievements, he then went on to attend Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine situated in Missouri where he completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree. Followed by post-doctoral training at Grandview Hospital, a prestigious healthcare organization in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Mark D. Schneider was also board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

Dr. Schneider has since gained a wealth of experience across all facets of his trade over the course of his career, expanding his professional experience further when he held the role of Chief of Staff for two years as well as completing academic roles at Universities across California and Nevada, including the Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He has also held the position as Associate and Adjunct Professor of Family Medicine. In addition to this current role as a Family Physician, Dr. Mark D. Schneider also holds the position as Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at the not for profit healthcare network, PIH Health, located in Downey.

After over four decades in the medical field, Dr. Mark D. Schneider is highly regarded by his colleagues at the Community Medical Group which serves the state of California. The Medical Group has an outstanding reputation for excellence with patients coming far and wide to receive the best quality healthcare services at the center. Outside of work, Dr. Schneider is a very active individual enjoying sports and activities such as sailing in addition to spending quality time with his family and friends. He attributes all of his successes and achievements to his loving family, in particular his wife Linda and daughter Carly.
