Tampa, FL, January 04, 2019 --(PR.com
)-- Franchise partners Betsy and Rick Shafer announce the grand opening celebration for Tampa’s first Profile® by Sanford® location on Thursday, January 10, 2019, from 4 PM to 7 PM at 128 South Westshore Boulevard, Suite C, in Tampa. Named an Entrepreneur Magazine Top New Franchise in 2017 and 2018, Profile is the comprehensive lifestyle change service developed by Sanford Health. The grand opening celebration is open to the public and free to attend.
“We are so excited to introduce this science-backed model of weight loss to Tampa. I have seen first-hand how the Profile plan can change lives, and we look forward to sharing more about its impact at our grand opening and in the months to come,” said Betsy Shafer.
The grand opening celebration will feature a chance to meet the Tampa Profile team and a tour of the new office space. Guests will learn about the Profile plan, which combines nutrition, activity, and lifestyle coaching to encourage healthy weight loss and lasting behavior change. Also, there will be opportunities for guests to win prizes, receive membership discounts, and sample complimentary Profile food.
Just for January, the cost of an annual Profile membership is being offered for $129 and the Profile Precise genetic testing is reduced to $99. In addition, Profile is launching a new, protein-packed healthy pizza crust this month.
A separate ribbon cutting ceremony with the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce is planned for Monday, February 4, from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Westshore store.
The science behind Profile includes a genetic testing component, which sets it apart from other weight loss programs. Profile Precise is a test that harnesses the power of genetics to analyze how each body metabolizes carbohydrates providing a specific roadmap for a member to achieve long-term weight loss success. A personalized meal plan is developed that includes nutritious Profile food and healthy grocery options. Profile offers a diverse line of food options, including protein bars, shakes, pastas, soups, salad dressings, and entrees.
Additionally, members meet one-on-one with Certified Profile coaches to help them change behaviors and encourage accountability. Each Profile member receives a Profile Smart Body Scale that provides wireless, real-time progress monitoring through web and mobile applications.
Profile is headquartered in Sioux Falls and has 90+ physical locations and more than 100 locations currently in development across the country. Through their virtual coaching service, Profile Anywhere, the company serves members in 50 states. Profile opened its first location in 2012 and has helped members lose more than a million pounds collectively.
The Profile program was designed using clinical research to provide individuals with a simple, effective and sustainable approach to healthy lifestyle change. An advisory board comprised of Sanford Health physicians and researchers oversee the continued development of Profile. Sanford Health is one of the largest health systems in the country.
