AZOO Palm Aquarium Announces the New AZOO Mignon Skimmer Filtration System for 2008
The AZOO Mignon Skimmer Filter is the first “All-In-One” filter in the Mignon product line to integrate surface skimming, protein skimming, and carbon/mechanical filtration to effectively clean and maintain the stability of a hobbyist’s aquarium.
Whittier, CA, March 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The AZOO Mignon Skimmer Filter is the most technologically advanced “All-In-One” filtration system in the reliable AZOO Mignon Series product line.
The Mignon Skimmer Filter features an adaptive overflow surface skimmer box. The surface skimmer box allows surface oils and debris that typically collects on the surface of an aquarium to be skimmed off the surface and into the filtration system. Once water is pulled into the filtration system the filter draws an adjustable amount of air from an intake valve and fractions the air into micro bubbles. The air and protein suspended in the water binds to create a foam that is bubble lifted out of the skimmer tube and into a collection cup for easy removal. The Mignon Skimmer Filter also features a traditional mechanical and biological two stage filtration cartridge for removing debris with an integrated carbon pack to remove ammonia and other harmful chemicals keeping the aquarium water clean and optically clear.
The Mignon Skimmer Filter is designed to work effectively on aquariums between 5 to 20 gallons. The filter can be used on saltwater or freshwater aquarium setups. The filter is only 7" tall by 5.75" wide by 4.50" deep, making it one of the smallest “All-In-One” filtration systems available today. The filter has an adjustable water intake flow control, an adjustable air valve for the skimmer, a collection cup, and a two stage replaceable filter with carbon media built in.
