El Segundo, CA, March 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Manhattan Beach Trading, Inc. (MBTI), a financial services holding company, announced Tuesday that it has incorporated Skype into its support tools for traders. The move lowers the bar for global customers to get support in all markets.

“We support customers in 40 countries trading 20 markets 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. What we want to do is eliminate the barriers that limit our ability to support them. Skype is a terrific piece of technology that lets people communicate with us from anywhere in the world at little or no cost, and that’s a big piece of our current mission objective,” said Ross Ditlove, CEO of MB Trading.

By adding Skype support, anyone with a computer, speakers, and a microphone anywhere in the world can contact MB Trading directly, almost always at no cost to the customer. “People would say to us ‘I’d love to call into your webinars, but it costs me a Euro a minute for an hour of information from where I’m at in Europe,’” said David Lipsett, Executive Vice President of MB Trading. “In this decade, there are ways to eliminate the costs to the customer to get the information that they need to trade forex, stocks, futures, options, and bonds, and we want to provide those solutions. Our commitment is to lower the net costs of trading, and to us, trading includes educating the consumer about what we offer. They shouldn’t have to pay for that.”

Skype is available in 28 languages and is used in almost every country around the world. Skype generates revenue through its premium offerings such as making and receiving calls to and from landline and mobile phones, as well as voicemail and call forwarding. Skype, based in Luxembourg, has relationships with a growing network of hardware and software providers and is an eBay company (NASDAQ: EBAY).
