Dig This® Announces Move to New Las Vegas Location with Expanded Kids Activities and Heavy Equipment Offerings

Operations scheduled to commence February 1 with Grand Opening festivities February 16.

Las Vegas, NV, January 18, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Dig This® Las Vegas, the world’s first heavy equipment playground, officially announced today, it will be moving operations to 800 W. Roban Avenue in Las Vegas, NV effective February 1, 2019. The new location, encompassing five acres, is located between the M Resort and Speed Vegas, approximately ten minutes south of the Las Vegas Strip. New pieces of heavy equipment will be featured and beginning February 16, activities for children as young as four years old will be introduced. A 2,000 square foot office complete with reception and retail areas round out the new complex.

The final day for operations at Dig This Las Vegas’ current location, 3012 S. Rancho Drive will be January 25. Reservations up to and including Friday, January 25 are still available.

Think Tonka but this time it’s the real deal on fun and safe 1-ton Caterpillar excavators,” said Ed Mumm, Dig This Las Vegas’ Owner and Founder. “We are now an all-family experience with affordable rides so everyone can feel the thrill of operating real earth moving equipment.”

Joining Dig This Las Vegas’ existing fleet of three Caterpillar 15-ton hydraulic excavators, two Caterpillar 10-ton track-type Dozers, two Caterpillar 6-ton excavators, and two Caterpillar 5-ton skid steer track loaders, is a brand new Caterpillar 14-ton hydraulic excavator, featuring a larger cab and a bucket complete with thumb. Rounding out the fleet, specifically for the kids four years and older will be four new 1.5-ton Caterpillar excavators.

During the new Mini Digger Experiences, parents/guardians can assist children four to five years of age operate the 1.5-ton Caterpillar excavators. Pricing starts at $20 for a fifteen minute session.

Grand Opening festivities on Saturday, February 16 to include prize give-a-ways, photo opportunities, cake from Freed’s Bakery, a chance to win a Dig This Las Vegas Birthday Party Package, and more.

Dig This Las Vegas is open daily, year-round, providing Mini Digger Experiences, Mini Experiences, Big Digs, Mega Digs, the Aggression Session Car Crush, and Group Dig activities. Full-size equipment participants must be at least 14 years of age to operate bulldozers, 12 years of age to operate excavators and participate in the Aggression Session, eight years of age to operate skid steer loaders and mini excavators, and four years old to operate the 1.5-ton excavators.
