Irvine, CA, January 26, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) an independent, nonprofit organization, wholly dedicated to funding leading-edge pediatric cancer research nationwide, announces two new board members with expertise in fields that will support the organization’s mission to give every child a cancer-free future.

“I look forward to working with and learning from these respected professionals. Their commitment to our cause and personal desire to support research will bring a new level of expertise to PCRF. With diverse business backgrounds and leadership roles in their own company, Steve and Cameron are a welcome addition to our already seasoned board,” shared PCRF’s Executive Director, Jeri Wilson.

Each new board member brings different backgrounds, effective leadership, and both expertise and connections in their respective industries.

PCRF welcomes the following to its Board of Directors:

· Steve Giusto, Entrepreneur
“As the father of a cancer survivor, I know the anguish of a pediatric cancer diagnosis and the miracles that can come from focused research that helps solve pediatric cancers,” shares Giusto. “PCRF and the work it does to identify and fund cutting edge research in pediatric cancer is a mission close to my heart.”

As a board member and audit committee chair, Giusto has advised CEO’s, executive management and investors of public and private service companies through major strategic shifts as the result of shifting regulatory environments, competitive threats and new growth opportunities. As a corporate executive, Giusto has been a transformational leader of consulting, staffing and education companies. With successful executive experience driving revenue growth, capital raising, strategy development, and financial, regulatory and risk management, he brings a breadth of operating and financial experience to bear on companies experiencing or seeking rapid growth.

· Cameron Munson, owner and founder of Orange Aluminum, and Managing Partner of Paramount Extrusions
“There is no greater battle than the one for our children. After researching dozens of charities in Orange County, it was clear that PCRF was a leader in driving change for our children and I wanted to be part of it,” said Munson. “PCRF funds research and brings awareness to the community, all while being one of the most financially efficient charities in the United States.”

Munson is passionately committed to making a difference and empowering others to do the same. He simultaneously built his own company, Orange Aluminum, from the ground up, which specializes in wholesale distribution of architectural and structural aluminum shapes. It has now been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in America for the past three years.
