The Kennedale Youth Football League is Partnering with the Former NFL Players at NFX to Help Bring Flex Football to the Mid-Cities

NFX DFW - Mid Cities, one of National Flex Football’s (NFX) revolutionary 9on9 limited-contact leagues within their DFW Region, is hosting the league and partnering with the community to give tackle players a "Spring ball" to develop their football athleticism.

Kennedale, TX, January 26, 2019 --(PR.com)-- 9on9 Flex Football by NFX is youth football’s new “Spring Ball.” The "Flex" style of play is the same one the NFL teams use to develop their skills without putting the wear and tear on the body as it allows blocking but no head and shoulder contact and no tackling. Players are marked down by 2-hand touch. Kids will have the opportunity to learn the “physical” side of the game in a smarter environment.

Kennedale Youth Football director Donnie Birdow says, “Tackle players and coaches in our Kennedale league will gain 500+ more reps this offseason to develop translatable football skills when fall comes around. It will also be a new entry point for kids wanting to try out football for the first time. We are very excited about this partnership, and will encourage all of our kids to play here this Spring.”

Games will be played at Pennington Field this Spring. This league is for all kids from the ages of 6 to 14 years old. Registration for the Spring NFX Flex league is now open and you can find out more information and register at http://flexfootball.com/nfx-dfw-mid-cities.
