Limited-Contact Football Game is Coming to North Dallas and is Being Presented by National Flex Football

This Spring, FORO Sports Club is hosting a 9v9, limited-contact "Flex" football league along with the former NFL players at National Flex Football (NFX).

Dallas, TX, January 26, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Starting in late March, North Dallas/Plano area kids will have the opportunity to experience the "Flex" style of play that was derived from the practice style that NFL teams use to develop their players' skills without putting the wear and tear on their bodies. Kids will now have the same opportunity to learn the “physical” side of the game in a smarter environment.

In Flex Football, you can block, but neither head/shoulder contact nor tackling is allowed as players are marked down by 2-hand touch. The look and feel is similar to a 7on7 environment with its fast-paced gameplay, but different in the fact that 3 offensive and 2 defensive linemen are included and running the football is allowed.

NFX North Dallas is providing an opportunity for fall tackle leagues in the area to benefit as well. By becoming a "league partner" with NFX North Dallas, youth tackle football organizations can not only provide their players a Spring developmental platform without having to strain their volunteer base, but also create an additional fundraising opportunity for their league. Carrollton Youth Football is one of the first affiliate partners of NFX North Dallas. If interested, youth leagues can contact National Flex Football staff to request more information.

This league is for all kids from the ages of 6 to 14 years old. Registration for the Spring NFX Flex league is now open and you can find out more information and register at flexfootball.com/nfx-dfw-north-dallas.
