Construction of Lowrance-Paisley Replacement Schools

Winston-Salem, NC, February 01, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The Lowrance-Paisley Replacement Schools project is the first school to be constructed under the 2016 bond referendum.

New Atlantic is currently constructing 224,000 SF of buildings consisting of 3 three-story classroom wings, 2 gymnasiums, 2 dining areas, and a media center. The new school’s entrance is 2 levels formed by an 800 LF by 15 FT high retaining wall. During this time, Paisley Middle School is remaining open and occupied by faculty and students. Once the new construction is complete the existing school will be demolished.

The site development included 22.5 acres of land disturbance, 40,000 CY of grading, temporary and permanent storm drainage bypass systems, and a dry detention basin that includes a sand filter and site utilities.
