Jimi Hendrix Black Legacy Book to be Released at ALF

New Jimi Hendrix Book Debuts at Augusta Literary Festival

Augusta, GA, February 07, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Georgia author and founder of the Augusta Literary Festival, Corey Washington, will debut his latest Hendrix book at the 7th annual Augusta Literary Festival (ALF) on Mar. 2nd, 2019 at the Augusta Library HQ (Downtown).

Jimi Hendrix – Black Legacy (A Dream Deferred), is the second Hendrix book from Augusta author, Corey Washington. This latest book is the result of 15 years of extensive research on Hendrix, with a focus on his impact on Black culture. Washington hopes this book will shed light on the complex and misunderstood relationship that Hendrix had with the Black Community.

Augusta Literary Festival – Augusta, GA's second largest city and the home of James Brown and the Masters, is the site of the ALF, a free to the public celebration of literacy. This year’s event is on Sat. Mar. 2nd, 2019, from 10-4:30 PM at the Augusta Public Library on 823 Telfair St. Authors from around the southeast will be on hand to sign books and interact with attendees.
