Eugene, OR, February 14, 2019 --(PR.com
)-- 2019 marks the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG). To celebrate this milestone and the evolution in its membership, SNAG is seeking to partner with institutions and universities to mutually-promote upcoming metalsmithing demonstrations, lectures, and exhibitions happening across the country throughout the year. Events hosted or sponsored by those in the program will be promoted on SNAG's interactive online #snag50 map as well as in its flagship Metalsmith Magazine and in SNAG's social media, which reaches over 30,000 engaged followers.
In exchange, SNAG asks that participating artists, institutions, and organizations incorporate SNAG’s 50th Anniversary logo into their program display and promotional materials of the related event. SNAG is committed to showcasing diversity in the metals community and encourages artists and institutions of every style and activity to participate.
Those interested can fill out a simple form at snagmetalsmith.org/snag50map to get started. The #snag50 logo is available at:
