Can Reis Studios Save the Romantic Comedy by Giving an Update to When Harry Met Sally?

Upcoming romantic comedy from Reis Studios is being dubbed the new generation's When Harry Met Sally.

Los Angeles, CA, March 12, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Nearly 30 years after the hit film When Harry Met Sally was released, there's a new film in the making that is beginning to turn heads. It's titled "Bad @ Love" and will feature Braden Paes in the starring role known for playing Beauregard on the hit TV series "Young, Drunk, Punk" and the 2019 Sorority Comedy "Oh Boy!" Along with some very notable female leads to be announced in the coming months.

The film follows a young man and woman on their search for love as they deal with dating in the 21st century. It touches upon the use of social media apps like Tinder and Instagram and how they have changed the landscape of finding that one true love.

"The script is really well written and I don't believe that anything like this has been done in a very long time. It sets the stage for the return of the romantic comedy in a really big way," says Braden Paes.

In recent years, it has been said that the romantic comedy genre has been done away with and that there is no sign of revival in sight. Reis Studios is hoping that this film changes the public's outlook on the romantic comedy and that this is the update the genre needs to push it into current times.

"Bad @ Love" is set to film this fall in Calgary, Alberta, and hits theatres late next year.
