Vegan Dystopian Novel Beasts Sells Over 100 Books Within First Few Weeks of Book Tour

San Diego, CA, March 10, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Beasts is a new Sci-Fi, fantasy, dystopian novel that has been on tour for a month now. Within the first few weeks, Ana Levley, author of Beasts: Beginning of the End sold over 100 novels. She first started out on her South East tour at the End of January. Her book was published in August of last year, gaining traction for its controversial nature.

“I have met so many amazing people,” Ana says, describing her book tour success. “I have people who I had no idea were fans - those that I call 'Bunker people' the hard core dystopian readers who I of course was trying to reach but had no idea how much they would connect with the novel. A man came up to me in Arizona at my first book signing, he was one of these hard core survivalists who heard about me on a popular dystopian podcast. He said that I introduced him to veganism, and that he was so thankful for my novel. That he never made that connection to animals, and now, for his bunker, was buying Loma (a vegan canned food company) and veganized it. I was shocked and happy to hear that someone who seemed so different would connect with my book in such an intimate way.”

Ana also says she has connected with everyday people as well who have read her novel. “I met a person who said that she loves Hunger Games and Divergent and when she read my novel Beasts, she was not planning on being a vegan. But she was shocked to learn at the end that the scenes (the egg, dairy, and meat scenes) were very close to what we do to animals today, she stopped eating meat right away. She said my premise made a lot of sense and she could see a future as I painted it - a future she hopes never happens.”

Ana has marketed her vegan dystopian novel main stream, and she says she has many fans who were not vegan before reading the book. She said they were excited to come to a book signing at a vegan place, many times to try vegan food for the first time. She also says the vegan community support has been amazing as well.

“In Austin, I met the founders of the Austin Farm Sanctuary and was happy to connect with them to donate 10% of the proceeds to them of my Austin book signing. I met the wonderful pigs, and cows that they are saving. I also met up with people from the Atlanta Anonymous for the Voiceless at my book signing in Atlanta. I am honored to be a part of the vegan movement and I really admire everyone who does vegan activism in a peaceful manner like AV and having sanctuaries. I also admire all of the amazing vegan restaurants that have hosted my book signings. You can see more intimate details of every place I had a book signing on my Instagram.”

Her next book signing is in Las Vegas and so far has 90 people interested or going to it. Ana says she is humbled by her fans and that she is excited people connected with her words. “I really wanted to do something, to change the world and bring veganism into everyday lives and I always have been a storyteller. So I am so happy to try to write peace into the world and make a real change.”

Her next book signing is in Las Vegas at Violette's Vegan Organic Cafe & Juice Bar at 12pm on Sunday, March 10th.
