Epic Comic Con Beams William Shatner to Atlantic City

Atlantic City, NJ, March 16, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Science fiction fans across the country are excited today to learn the legendary William Shatner will be appearing at the first-ever Epic Comic Con at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City, slated for June 21 – 23, 2019.

Shatner is best known for his iconic role as Captain James Tiberius Kirk of the USS Enterprise in Star Trek: The Original Series. He reprised that role in seven feature films, Star Trek: The Animated Series, and several franchise video games.

Following his success as Captain Kirk, Shatner also played the title role as a veteran police sergeant in T.J. Hooker and hosted the reality-based television series Rescue 911. From 2004 until 2008, he starred as attorney Denny Crane both in the final season of the legal drama The Practice and in its spinoff series Boston Legal.

An accomplished writer, Shatner authored both fiction and non-fiction, including several books in the Star Trek universe and his TekWar series, which was adapted for television. Shatner portrayed the role of Walter H. Bascom in the series.

Appearing Saturday and Sunday at Epic Comic Con, Shatner joins fellow Star Trek veteran Brent Spiner. Both actors will be signing autographs and posing for photos with fans.

Tickets are currently on sale through the event's website at www.epiccomiccon.com. Ticket prices start at $25 for adults and $10 for kids between the ages of six and twelve. VIP passes are also available.
