Improvements in project management
Login authentication methods, workflows, penalty profiles, and limited project manager’s rights have been significantly improved in XTM. The latest release enhances the quality of penalty profiles so that they can now be used to distinguish between specific language variants.
Better costs overview
XTM v11.6 allows project managers to force vendors to provide time values for specific steps in the workflow. This way, project managers will get a better idea of costs related to the project before it starts.
Another improvement in XTM Cloud v.11.6 enables users to change the text orientation in XTM Editor after it's been entered into the target segment. The latest version also supports MadCap Flare files with the following file formats: XML, HTML, XML with HTML, and CSS.
Better translation efficiency
The latest release extends the list of supported machine translation (MT) engines with DeepL providing more nuanced translations similar to that of human translators. Quality output produced by DeepL combined with human post-editing in XTM ensures faster and more accurate translations.
