Author on Networking, Michael Whitehouse, Launches Podcast to Help Non-Profits/Businesses Share Mission/Expertise. Podcast Guest Lisa Saunders Discusses Book Writing.

Mystic, CT, March 21, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Michael Whitehouse, author of the book on business networking, “The Guy Who Knows a Guy,” has just launched “The Guy Who Knows A Guy Podcast” to help non-profits and entrepreneurs build their networks. His first four podcasts feature digital marketing, business writing, health and accounting experts who will be teaching workshops at the Southeast Connecticut Business Conference on April 25 in Mystic, Connecticut.

“They say it's not what you know, it's who you know, and it's true that a network is one of your most important assets. A network is not something you're born with. It's something you build,” says Whitehouse. Every week, Whitehouse will interview entrepreneurs from southeast Connecticut to share their expertise. He'll also answer listener questions on networking, sales, marketing and entrepreneurship. Episode 2 is now available for download on several platforms. Guest Lisa Saunders, editor and writing coach, discusses the credibility and free publicity gained when an entrepreneur authors a book. In Episode 1, Karen Etchells of Innovast Digital Marketing, explains what to consider when launching an effective digital marketing strategy.

Whitehouse, the publisher of the monthly print magazine, Groton-Mystic Neighbors, also writes articles to help non-profits and businesses expand their audiences. People can sign up for his free e-newsletter, which includes an expansive list of upcoming networking events in southeastern Connecticut, his latest “The Guy Who Knows A Guy Podcast” and links to his articles such as “6 Keys to Writing A Non Profit Spotlight,” by writing to him at: michael@guywhoknowsaguy.com.

Regarding his upcoming Southeast Connecticut Business Conference, Whitehouse says, “It's everything you need to know about business but don't know whom to ask. This is a great event for entrepreneurs, big business employees, authors, artists, artisans and anyone who wants to learn about business and expand their network. In my workshop, I will share the basics of sales and business development for entrepreneurs who find themselves needing to act as salespeople and not liking it very much.”
