Creative Brain Learning Celebrates PI Day in Adelanto with STEM Learning and Free Fruit Pies for All Students

Adelanto students enrolled in Creative Brain Learning after school programs explored science and math, and enjoyed fruit pies on March 14.

Adelanto, CA, March 29, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Students enrolled in Creative Brain Learning After School programs within the Adelanto Elementary School District celebrated the infinite number PI (3.14159265358979.....) on March 14, 2019 and the week leading up to that day by applying PI to math and engineering projects, graphing and analyzing the frequency of its digits, engaging in friendly competition about memorizing as many digits of PI as possible, creating music based on the number PI, and much more. Creative Brian Learning also distributed over a thousand personal-sized fruit pies to all students. But there was one catch: Students had to try calculating the circumferences of their pies before eating them. Who says math can't be fun?

Participating schools included Adelanto Elementary, Bradach Elementary, Columbia Middle, El Mirage Elementary, Gus Franklin Elementary, Eagle Ranch Elementary, George Visual and Performing Arts Magnet, Melva Davis Academy of Excellence, Mesa Linda Middle School, Morgan Kincaid, Theodore Vick, Victoria Magathan, West Creek and Westside Park Elementary School.

All schools are currently gearing up for another STEM related event: National Robotics Week in April. For more information, please call The Adelanto Office of Creative Brain Learning at 760-675-6957.
