Literacy Action Gears Up for 2019 Tour de Toad Charity Bike Ride: Central Arkansas Nonprofit Hosts Official Cycling Event of Conway’s Toad Suck Daze Festival

Little Rock, AR, April 01, 2019 --( Adult literacy nonprofit, Literacy Action of Central Arkansas invites cyclists to register for the 12th Annual Tour de Toad Charity Bike Ride event on Saturday, May 4th at the Conway Municipal Airport. Participants can sign up at

Tour de Toad 2019 offers 3 routes for cyclists of all ages and experience levels: a 10-mile family route, a 20-mile intermediate route, and a 40-mile “Feels Like a Half-Century” advanced route. Registration is $30 for the 10-mile ride and $50 for the 20- and 40-mile rides. Supporters who cannot attend the event can also register as Virtual Riders. All registration options include an event t-shirt. All registration options except Virtual Rider include a complimentary BBQ sandwich from Whole Hog Conway. This is the 6th year of the IRON TOAD event, where anyone who completes both the Toad Suck Daze Run and Tour de Toad receives a custom commemorative medal. All proceeds from Tour de Toad benefit Literacy Action.

The ride starts at 11 am, with day-of registration and packet pick-up starting at 9 am at the Conway Municipal Airport. Multiple bathrooms and aid stations will be located along the routes to provide SAG assistance, water, and snacks to participants.
