Brandon Larkins Joins Cast for the Second Season of the Award-Winning Series "The Chronicles of Jessica Wu"

Actor Brandon Larkins will play the character Stacks Luger in season two of the award-winning Amazon Prime series "The Chronicles of Jessica Wu." The new season will air April 2nd on Amazon Prime.

Los Angeles, CA, April 01, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The series is not just another superhero story, it is a family-friendly, fictional, action series that exhibits the astonishing gifts of a differently abled young girl on the Autism spectrum who is on a quest to save her community.

Larkins signed on as an Executive Producer in season one after being approached by long time friend and show creator, Zane Hubbard. The intent of the show is not only meant to entertain audiences, but to also teach viewers that you do not have to be your diagnosis. Being on the spectrum does not negate the possibilities of being an everyday hero. This is a belief that both Zane and Brandon strongly believes in.

While preparing for season two which strategically airs on “World Autism Awareness Day,” Larkins, a seasoned actor known for his roles on “Cougar Town” (TBS) and “The Wire” (HBO) was compelled to contribute to the project even more by becoming not only a returning executive producer but a character on the show as well. The character, Stacks Luger was the perfect role to exhibit the actor’s distinctive ability to transform into any character written. Larkins perfectly delivers the intense and fearful villain the show writer wanted viewers to tremble over.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, season one introduced us to Jessica Wu and gave audiences a glimpse of the character genius abilities and martial arts skills, making her the most unique and fascinating superhero of our time. While improving the community, Wu becomes a star in her city by taking down some of the most ruthless troublemakers imaginable.

Season two intensifies with the addition of even more merciless characters. Still living in a city that continues to be plagued with ruthless thugs, Jessica Wu, continues to use her limitless powers to protect the citizens of Los Angeles.

“It is important to display the positive strengths of a person with special needs. It is an honor to be a part of a project that help raise awareness about people with Autism Spectrum Disorder,” states Brandon Larkins.

Season two also features Emmy nominated actor, Melvin Jackson Jr., Canadian actress, Helena-Alexis Seymour, veteran actor Ro Brooks, Aria Song, and Jasmine Hester.
